This workshop will explore strategies for tackling controversial issues safely and effectively in the languages classroom.

The Confucius Institute for Scotland's Schools (CISS) is hosting this Knowledge Exchange event to share and reflect on Mandarin teaching in Scotland’s Schools, on the occasion of their 10-year anniversary.

This presentation will be given by Dr. David Roxburgh, Senior Teaching Fellow, Director of Global Engagement, Erasmus Co-ordinator (School of Education), and Faculty Director for Student Mobility (China/ South Korea).

This session is a professional learning and networking event which will be held via Microsoft Teams, in the 'CISS GTCS Registered Mandarin Teachers' Team.
