Archie McGlynn completed his Review of SCEN: Ten Years on and The Future in December 2017, and presented it to the Board of Trustees of SCEN on 10 January 2018. The Board was enormously grateful for Archie's detailed analysis of SCEN documents and for his great efforts to gather the views of SCEN members.
Our Treasurer Jeremy Chittleburgh said that the Review encapsulated the journey of SCEN, and fellow Trustees agreed. We were of the same mind with regard to the Conclusions in Section 9, and we have begun discussion of the important and useful Recommendations in Section 10.
The Board will continue to consider the Recommendations and start to decide which are practicable at its next meeting on 15 February 2018. Trustees hope that you will also find the Review very illuminating, honest and valuable. They would be glad to receive any comments and advice.
