The Design and Use of Digital Assessment in Chinese Language Courses

From the perspective of teaching Chinese as an international language, this workshop explores the design and use of digital assessment in both university and school contexts. Jointly organised by the Confucius Institute for Scotland in the University of Edinburgh and the British Chinese Language Teaching Society, we have invited three highly experienced speakers from the United States of America, England and Scotland. Their talks will focus on the definitions and categories of online language assessment, popular online toolkits for in-class assessment, and how to design an online diagnostic assessment.

The Confucius Institute for Scotland at Edinburgh University are honoured to host three prominent speakers:

  • Dr. Jiahang Li, Michigan State University
