UK National Chinese Essay Writing Competition 2013

St George's U4 and L6 girls who study Chinese as a Modern Language took part in the UK national Chinese essay/story writing competition and performed outstandingly.  

  • Megan (L6) got 2nd prize (Excellence) in the S5 non-native speaker category.

  • Holly (U4) got 2nd prize (Excellence) in the S2 non-native speaker category.

  • Charlotte (U4) got 3rd prize (Merit) in the S2 non-native speaker category.

  • Charlie (U4 ) got 3rd prize (Merit) in the S2 non-native speaker category.

  • Savanna (U4) got a special mention in the S2 non-native speaker category.

The competition was run by The UK Association for the Promotion of Chinese Education. It works in partnership with the Sussex University, Aylesbury Grammar School, Waltham Forest Chinese Associatio
