Scotland Goes Global: Inspiring Youth

Scotland Goes Global, a Scottish Government-funded initiative, in partnership with the British Council, Education Scotland, and Young Scot, invites secondary schools and youth 14-18 to 'Scotland Goes Global: Inspiring Youth. Celebrating Global Citizenship' on 20 June 2013 at The Lighthouse in Glasgow from 11:00 - 14:00.

We would like to celebrate the work Scotland Goes Global has done with schools this past academic year through the Ambassadors Scheme, inspire youth and celebrate global citizenship work in Scotland.

During the event we will have inspirational talks from influential Scots including actor and musician Billy Boyd, the Scottish Government, an interactive panel discussion, recognise best practice in schools, and more.

We will also award the winner of the Global Citizenship Photography Contest. Every contest participant will receive an invitation to the event where they will have a chance to win a Blackberry Tablet!

Registration is free and lunch will be provided. Go to the event site: www.scotlandgoesglobal.co.uk/youth for more information and full agenda.
