Luocha Land - National Theatre of China Comes to The Edinburgh Fringe

A production from the National Theatre of China is appearing at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Luocha Land is a dark and dynamic physical theatre piece from the National Theatre of China. Told through powerful visuals and almost no dialogue, Luocha Land follows a central character through a world where the laws of good and evil have been reversed, taking us on a journey to the depths of human nature exploring stories of morality, power and love. With striking original music and incredible physical performance from the 12-strong cast, Luocha Land adopts elements of Chinese Nuo opera and puppetry with a decidedly modern approach. 'Reaches a new height for Chinese physical theatre' (Beijing Youth Daily). The piece has received rave reviews at its premiere in Beijing and is about to open in France for a limited run before it comes to the Edinburgh Fringe.

Performances are at 5.50pm daily from the 2nd - 12th August at C, Adam House, Chambers Street, Edinburgh EH1 1HR. Tickets are available from https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/luocha-land or www.cthefestival.com.
