Full-Time Teacher of Mandarin Wanted at Jordanhill School

The Swire Trust is funding the development of a Chinese Language Centre at Jordanhill School. As the work of the centre expands, the school is seeking to appoint an additional full-time teacher of Mandarin to join the existing team in delivering the centre’s aims and aspirations.
At present the centre teaches Mandarin to all pupils from P5-P7 in Jordanhill School and in neighbouring Broomhill Primary. All pupils in S1 study Mandarin and then have the option to continue in S2 prior to course choice for S3. National 5 Mandarin is delivered in S3 and S4 and Higher Grade and Advanced Higher will be offered in 2020-21 and 2021-22.
