Chinese Cultural Classes and Activities at the Eric Liddell Centre

An upcoming programme of Chinese Cultural Classes and Activities will be taking place at the Eric Liddell Centre. As part of a developing partnership between the ELC and Heriot Watt’s Confucius Institute, we are also hosting these Chinese Cultural classes and workshops in association with the university.

The classes include the following:
Chinese Brush Painting (Wednesdays, 3-5pm; 3rd July – 7th August)
Chinese Language Beginners Class (Thursdays, 4-6pm; 4th July – 8th August)
Chinese Calligraphy (Fridays, 4-5pm; 5th July – 9th August)
Mahjong Workshop (Fridays, 4-6pm; 5th July – 9th August) – max 8 people per session

These classes can be booked in a 6 week block for £40 at reception or for £8 per lesson. You can also book in online via Eventbrite, however, please bear in mind that additional fees apply on Eventbrite. A full brochure of the classes can be found here.

We’re really excited about our developing partnership with Heriot Watt University – these classes celebrate the multi-cultural nature of our work at the Centre and also recognises Eric Liddell’s strong links with China.
