China Day at the Zoo - Tuesday 3 March 2015

We are looking forward to China Day at the Zoo on Tuesday 3 March. Mr Pan Xinchun, the Consul General for the PR of China, and his wife Mme Yu Zhili, will be distinguished guests, and Dr Alasdair Allan MSP, Minister for Learning, Science and Scotland's Languages will drop in to see the Zoo Trails in the afternoon and, of course, to visit the Pandas, with new SCEN Ambassadors from Lochend Community High School (City of Glasgow). The superb Sandie Robb will introduce the Beyond the Panda programme, and there will be presentations from four Beyond the Panda Take Action Schools: Glashieburn Primary School (City of Aberdeen), Thornton Primary School (Fife), Danestone Primary School (City of Aberdeen) and Lasswade High School (Midlothian).
